When the Ati-Atihan meets the Bañamos. Members of an Ati-Atihan group from Kalibo, Aklan joined the 10th Bañamos Festival as they perform during the civic parade, September 16, Friday.
The Bañamos Festival is held each year to celebrate the founding anniversary of Los Baños, Laguna as a town. Being the country’s Special Science and Nature City of the Philippines, the festival also showcases the town’s must-see places, products, and services.
You can still join us in celebration tomorrow, September 18, for the final day of the festival. There will be a street dance at Baranggay Poblacion starting at 3:00 PM and to be followed by a showdown and grand revelry at Paciano Rizal Park, near the Los Baños Municipal Hall.

Only in the Philippines: Santo Niñong Galà
Pit Senior!

Viva Santo Niño! Pit Senior!
Today, January 16, the Philippines celebrate the Feast of Santo Niño or the Feast of the Child Jesus. We are the only country who celebrate this feast and it is fixed at the Liturgical Calendar. Due to our special devotion to the child Jesus, the Bishops asked for a special permission from the Vatican City to celebrate the feast of the Child Jesus during the 3rd Sunday of January or the Sunday after the Baptism Sunday.
Let us celebrate this day with the challenge of having a heart and humility with that of a child. Viva Santo Niño! Pit Senior!
