As expected, nasa Facebook na rin ang pumanaw na hostage taker na si Senior Inspector Rolando Mendoza. At hindi lang iisa ngunit napakaraming pages ang nakalaan para sa kanya. Sa pagta-tantiya ko ay may 150 ang bilang ng mga ito.

Sa tingin mo, ano na lang ang sasabihin ng mga kamag-anak ni Manong Pulis? Ano na lang ang sasabihin ng iln pang mga nakagagawa ng masama dahil sa bigong hustisya? Mainit ang ulo nating lahat kagabi pero sa pagbaba ng tensyon at inis sa mga pangyayari, napagtanto ko na biktima din si Manong Pulis. Biktima din ng isang malaking sistema na kumakain sa ating lahat. Biktima rin ng kanser ng ating lipunan.
Nagsisisihan. Nagtututuruan. Nagpapataasan ng ihi. Nagpapalakihan ng mga bayag. Pero sa bandang huli, wala din namang nangyayari. Babalik pa rin tayo sa pinaka-ugat ng sistema na dahilan ng mga ganitong pangyayari.
